Lanhydrock House

Lanhydrock is a beautiful late Victorian country house set in its own extensive gardens and woodland. There is no better place to go to sample the delights of a traditional Victorian Christmas.

The halls, dining room and garden will be decorated to welcome you, every day throughout December (except Christmas day and boxing day) from 11am to 4pm. You will receive a warm welcome from the Victorian family’s servants as you enter the ornately decorated front hall. Feast your eyes on the beautifully decorated Christmas tree and warm yourselves by the roaring fire.

Children can dress up in the inner hall in front of the tree and you can help the cook and maids in the kitchen to prepare food and decorations.

Father Christmas will be flying in between 16th – 24th December, you can book tickets to see him via the National Trust website.

Take a stroll through the grounds on the festive garden trail which leads you to a quaint thatched cottage. Festive food will be served in the cosy restaurant and peruse the shop for that lost minute gift for Christmas.
