POPPY POWER At Cornwall’s Regimental Museum 26th May to 10th June 2018
Recognised at probably the finest Military Museum in the South West of England, Cornwall’s Regimental Museum is housed in the former headquarters of the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry “The Keep” at Bodmin, a magnificent Grade II listed Victorian building constructed in 1857.
Go along during half term and join in with some handmade poppy making for their 2018 commemorative project. There will also be fun activities throughout the week including Play the Bugle, fun quiz and trail, Military dressing up, historic gun handling sessions, become a ‘Young Curator’, Discover Bodmin Keep, Victorian Army Keep with historic armoury and military police cells! If that wasn’t all, visitors both young and old, can use the art cart and special craft supplies to create their own fun military medals. There is also a gift shop, second hand book room and refreshment area.
