What to do in Cornwall
Padstow is an ancient Cornish harbour town full of charm and character. With beautiful coastal and inland walks, camping in Cornwall has never been so good! Some of Cornwall’s top surfing beaches lie between Padstow and Newquay. A passenger ferry runs all day between Padstow and Rock.
Padstow is a food paradise attracting the country’s top chefs including Nathan Outlaw (2 Michelin stars), Paul Ainsworth (1 Michelin star) and TV chef Rick Stein with his famous Seafood Restaurant in Padstow. Nearby at Watergate Bay is Jamie Oliver’s restaurant, Fifteen.
Cornwall’s sandy beaches are plentiful but the Padstow area has more than its fair share, with nearby beaches providing safe bathing and surfing. Visiting a different beach every day of your holiday is made easy with the local ‘Seven Bays for Seven Days’. The seven local beaches are Trevone Bay, Harlyn Beach, Booby’s Bay, Constantine Bay, Mother Ivey’s, Treyarnon and Porthcothan.
